This new 105 bed Aged Care Facility provides high care facilities and services to elderly patients. The construction took place in a location notorious for hard shale rock. The site was excavated with 20 and 30 tone excavator removing over 15,000 cubic meters of rock. The buildings foundations are of a conventional strip footing and pad footing. The main structure is built from concrete blocks and concrete floors. The complex was completed ahead of schedule and to a very high standard of finish. This facility is also the first facility in QLD to adapt simplicity and a revolutionary way to deliver fresh, quality meal services to its patients.

 

• Renton St units

Grande Constructions is currently planning this new modern townhouses devlopment located at 22 Renton St. This 3 townhouse complex is constructed as 2 individel buildings with all 3 units been 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom. We exspect to start construction in late september. 

 

• Laundry Extention

Marebello age care facility extended there comercial laundry at the end of 2012. This allowed the laundry to cater for the work load of over 400 beds. With other facility trucking in laundry each day. Grande Consrtruction extended the floor space by 100 quare meters this made room for 2 boiler units, 4 new dryers, 4 new washing machines, a tunnel ironer, sheet dryer/ folder, automatic  towel folder and cold room to hold dirty laundry. With all the equipment going into the laundry power and water was up graded. New 3000L LPG gas tank was put in to run the boiler. Air compress was also installed to run equipment. The project was a great test for Grande constructions having never done anything like it. we where pleased with the end result as was our client.
